Hello, I’m Jennifer Ferguson (Jenn for short)!
I’m a small city girl transplanted in Southern California (Orange County), which was a big dream of mine that I went for at the age of 47 years young. I have taken a small stencil shop I opened almost 30 years ago, with the capital from my jet skis, and turned it into a 6-figure business I am running today. Nowadays, you can find me creating at my studio, working with my membership groups or on some fabulous trip with my Honey (I live for these trips)!!
I have been self-employed for almost 30 years now and I have a ton of knowledge to share! This has led me to follow my passion of helping others by empowering women to chase their dreams! Helping them grow profitable, passionate businesses that allow them to Live Their Dreams!

I love to paint (it’s my heart’s passion) and help others achieve their goals. I love Saturday and Sunday mornings getting up before anyone else and having that great alone time on the couch, with just my coffee and laptop. I have a wonderful boyfriend, Dan and together we have 6 incredible children that we enjoy spending time with. I love to travel and always have to have a trip planned (it’s my carrot to work hard and have a reward)!!!
I’m still chasing my Dreams!! I plan to have a Podcast up and running by the end of this year or maybe next year!!

What I Do
Well, I’m a self-taught artist that entered the decorative painting industry through the “art of stenciling” and my journey started about 30 years ago. My studio was located in Fresno, CA until 2012 when I decided to relocate to SoCal and now my studio can be found in Huntington Beach, CA. Artistic Painting Studio is the place to find supplies, materials, rollers, foils, stencils, etc. for any decorative painting project. I carry the complete line of Proceed/Lifestyle Finishes, Modern Masters, DIY Paints, and many other specialty decorative painting products. I also offer classes for everyone from beginner to advanced level artists through my online workshop.
The Stencil Line
I have been designing stencils for many years and I have a very diverse collection. I have everything from critters to damask patterns. There are over 350 stencils available and you can check out the complete collection online.
Accomplishments
Over the past 29+ years I have been blessed with many opportunities. I authored four books: Painted Chairs, Painted Whimsies, Trashformations, and Painted Fabric Fun. These books are a wonderful inspiration for getting creative. They will show you many great projects step-by-step, as well as just motivating you to get started. I also have had the opportunity to appear as a guest on several different TV shows: You’re Home with Kitty Bartholomew, Smart Solutions with Maty Monfort and The Carol Duvall Show. I believe that I was a guest on The Carol Duvall Show 13 different times! This was a wonderful experience and I have some great memories from being involved with the show for that long.
Personal Stuff
I live with the Love of my Life, Dan Stevens, and we have six kids all together (two for me and four for Dan). The four oldest are in the “real-world” working and we have still have two in college. This is one busy home!! My hobbies are painting of any kind and anything, along with skiing (water and snow), SUP boarding, cooking wonderful meals (when I have time), bike rides at the beach, knitting on occasion, shopping with my daughter, reading a good book while on vacation (this is the only time I ever have time to read), and going on great family vacations!
